Business Intelligence Analyst

An International Company based in Nairobi is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst. Successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, measuring and analyzing data services, operating the dialer and its eco-system at targeted at improving performance.

Responsibilities.

• Develop performance metrics/reports/monitors to establish necessary visibility into the data services, tracking issues and drive continuous system performance improvement.
• Monitor data usage and other data transactions.
• Analyze performance metrics/reports/monitors to identify any performance issues/risks.
• Investigate identified issues to identify root causes and come up with solutions.
• Plan for the issue resolution activities and coordinate/lead execution of the plan with other stakeholders.
• Create change requirements by describing high level business objectives, business benefits and functional requirements.
• Update related process flows, performance metrics/reports/monitors and other documents to reflect the changes and communicate them with all impacted stakeholders.

Requirements.

• Must have a bachelor’s degree (Analytics-based such as Finance or Math).
• Must have advanced knowledge in MS Excel.
• Must have strong database skills and significant SQL query development experience.
• Must have a technical background or experience in problem solving to identify, prioritize and communicate complicated technical issues.
• Must have strong task organization/management/execution skills.
• Must demonstrated ability to build strong cross organization relationships to facilitate cooperation and coordination.
• Must be self-motivated, self-starter and proactive.
• Must have strong problem solving skills with analytical detail.
