Mechanical Engineer

Agro Chemical and Food Company Limited is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Spirits and Bakers’ Yeast located in Western Kenya. We are looking for qualified, experienced and self-driven Kenyans with excellent interpersonal and ICT skills to fill the following vacant position:

Mechanical Engineer

Reporting to Engineering Manager.

a) Key Result Areas:

·         Improve manufacturing processes and oversee installation of machinery and parts.

·         Design and specify mechanical machinery, components and tools.

·         Provide technical leadership of the mechanical engineering team to enable them implement plans and budgets aimed at improving performance.

·         Control maintenance materials, spares and parts inventory.

b) Job specification

·         Must be between 28 and 40 years of age.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

·         At least 3 years’ experience as Mechanical Engineer.
