Senior Lecturer (Three Positions)

Applicants must have a Ph.D or equivalent qualification in Law from a recognized academic institution, and at least 4 years of teaching or research experience at university level and 4 publications in refereed journal(s) since appointment as Lecturer.

Alternatively

Applicants must have a Masters degree in Law from a recognized academic institution and at least 5 years of University teaching experience and 5 publications since becoming Lecturer.

In addition applicants should show evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars and workshops, evaluated effective teaching, and contribution to University life through active participation in departmental matters, student academic advising, School and University meetings, committee membership and others.

Applicants must also be registered for a Ph.D degree and provide evidence of recognition and registration or registrability by relevant professional body.

Lecturer (Three Positions)

Applicants must possess a Ph.D or equivalent qualification in Law from a recognized academic institution, with teaching experience at University level, and show evidence of publication and extensive research.

Alternatively

Applicants must have a Masters degree in Law in addition to a Bachelor of Laws Degree from a recognized academic institution, and at least two years of University level teaching or research after obtaining a Masters degree and two publications in refereed journal(s).

In addition applicants should be registered for a Ph.D degree and must also provide evidence of recognition and registration or registrability by a relevant professional body.

Lecturer, Child Health and Paediatrics – (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Ph.D. in related disciplines or MMed (Child Health and Paediatrics) and MBCHB. 

Applicants with experience in teaching and supervision at University level will have added advantage. 

Applicants should have Research experience as evidenced by at least two (2) publications respectively in refereed journals. 

Responsibilities will include research, teaching and supervision.

Tutorial Fellows (4 Posts)

Applicants MUST have Masters Degree in Medical Physiology, Pharmacy, Medical Microbiology and Human Anatomy. 

Evidence of research and teaching at the University level will be an added advantage.

Senior Technologist (Anatomy) – Grade 10, 11 (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Higher National Diploma or above in Histology or Medical Laboratory Sciences (Histology or Cytology option). 

MUST have experience of working in Institutions of Higher Learning in a similar position for not less than 5 years. 

He/she must be registered by KMLTTB or any other recognized body.

Senior Technologist (Medical Physiology) – Grade 10, 11 (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Higher National Diploma or above in Medical Physiology. 

MUST have experience of working in Institutions of Higher Learning in a similar position.

Technician (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) – Grade 8 (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Pharmceutical technology. 

MUST have experience of working in Institutions of Higher Learning. 

Be registered by Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

Technician (Pharmaceutics) – Grade 6 (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Diploma in Chemistry or Pharmaceutic Technology. 

MUST have experience of working in Institutions of Higher Learning.

Technician (Pharmacology) – Grade 6 (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Degree in Biological Sciences. 

MUST have experience of working in Institutions of Higher Learning. 

Must have at least 3-years experience.

Technician (Physiotherapy) – Grade 6 (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized University. Higher Diploma in medical education is an added advantage. 

MUST have experience of working in Institutions of Higher Learning.

Technician (Anatomy) – Grade 6 (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Diploma in Applied Biology or Medical Laboratory Sciences. 

MUST have experience in preparations of Human Anatomy specimen and MUST working in Institutions of Higher Learning in a similar position. 

MUST be registered by relevant body and have at least 3-years working experience.

Technician (Medical Physiology) – Grade 6 (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Diploma in Applied Biology or Medical Laboratory Sciences.

MUST have experience of working in Institutions of Higher Learning in a similar position. 

MUST be registered by relevant body and have at least 3 years working experience.

Skills Laboratory Nurse
 
Registered Nurse with a Higher Diploma in Nursing or Diploma in Advanced Nursing or BSc. Nursing, Minimum of Five (5) years working experience in a busy teaching/referral hospital, Experience in mentoring of nursing students is an added advantage and Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya and have a valid practice license.

Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) – (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Ph.D in Pharmacy or Clinical Chemistry, MSc. and Bachelor of Pharmacy, and must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board. 

Applicants with experience in teaching and supervision at University level will have added advantage. 

Applicants should have at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the position of a lecturer and supervision at University level will have added advantage. 

Responsibilities will include clinical work, research, teaching and supervision.

Lecturer in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) – (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Ph.D in Pharmacy or Clinical Chemistry, MSc. and Bachelor of Pharmacy and must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy) – (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Ph.D in Pharmacy, MSc. and Bachelor of Pharmacy and must be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

Lecturer, Occupational Therapy – (2 Posts)

Applicants MUST have a Ph.D in related disciplines, MSc. and BSc in Occupational therapy, and must be registered with the Kenya Occupational Therapists Association. 

Applicants with experience in teaching and supervision at University level will have added advantage. 

Responsibilities will include research, teaching and supervision.

Senior Lecturer Child Health And Paediatrics – (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Ph.D. in related disciplines or MMed (Child Health and Paediatrics) and MBCHB.

Applicants with experience in teaching and supervision at University level will have added advantage.
 

 Applicants should have at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the position of a lecturer and supervision at University level will have added advantage. 

Responsibilities will include clinical work, research, teaching and supervision.

Senior Lecturer Medical Physiology– (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Ph.D. in Medical Physiology, MSc., MBCHB or BVM or BSc. in Zoology. Applicants should have Research experience as evidenced by at least three (3) publications in refereed journals. 

Applicants should have at least 3 years of teaching experience at the position of a lecturer and supervision at University level will have added advantage. 

Responsibilities will include clinical work, research, teaching and supervision.

Lecturer, Medical Physiology – (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Ph.D. in Medical Physiology, MSc., MBCHB or BVM or BSc. in Zoology. Applicants should have Research experience as evidenced by at least two (2) publications in refereed journals. 

Applicants with experience in teaching and supervision at University level will have added advantage. 

Responsibilities will include clinical work, research, teaching and supervision.

Senior Lecturer Human Anatomy – (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Ph.D in Anatomy, MSc and BSc. Applicants should have Work/Research experience as evidenced by at least three (3) publications in refereed journals. 

Applicants should have at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the position of a lecturer and supervision at University level will have added advantage. 

Responsibilities will include clinical work, research, teaching and supervision.

Lecturer, Human Anatomy – (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have a Ph.D in Anatomy, MSc. and B.Sc. Applicants should have Work/Research experience as evidenced by at least two (2) publications in refereed journals. 

Applicants with experience in teaching and supervision at University level will have added an advantage. 

Responsibilities will include, research, teaching and supervision.

Senior Lecturer Public Health – (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have at a Ph.D in Public Health, MSc., MBCHB or BVM or BSc. Applicants with research experience, in teaching and supervision at University level will have added advantage. 

Applicants should have at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the position of a lecturer and supervision at University level will have added advantage.

Lecturer, Public Health – (1 Post)

Applicants MUST have at a Ph.D in Public Health, MSc., MBCHB or BVM or BSc. Applicants with research experience, in teaching and supervision at University level will have added advantage. 

Applicants should have Research experience as evidenced by at least two (2) publications in refereed journals.
