POSITION: CHAPLAIN
Kabarak University invites applications from interested and suitable qualified candidates to fill the following vacant position at the University. The University is a Christian institution committed to Christian principles and values. Successful candidate will be required to uphold this value system.
Person Profile
·         Applicants should hold a Masters Degree in Divinity or Theology or an equivalent from a recognized university.
·         They should have at least 5 Years work experience.
·         The candidates should be ordained ministers of AIC
·         Should posses good communication skills in English and Kiswahili
 Job Profile
Reporting to the Provost (Academic & Spiritual Affairs), the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating spiritual activities and specific responsibilities include:
·         Coordinating worship services
·         Assisting in overseeing spiritual life of students, staff and members of community.
·         Planning spiritual programs for students, and members of community
·         Providing pastoral counseling services to students, staff and members of community.
·         Organizing mission outreach activities for the university
 REMUNERATION AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Appointment to the above position will be on permanent and pensionable following a satisfactory probation period of six (6) months. A competitive compensation package will be offered to successful candidate.
