The National Council for Law
Reporting is a state corporation established by the National Council for Law
Reporting Act, 1994. The statutory mandate of the Council is to publish the
official Kenya Law Reports which are compilations of the decisions of the
superior courts of Kenya, and the revision and updating the Laws of Kenya. The

TASKS
Duties and responsibilities will entail:-
Duties and responsibilities will entail:-
1.
Procurement and safe custody of stores; issuance of stores; and
establishing the movement of stores;
2.
Stores and inventory management;
3.
Management of donor funded procurement;
4.
Preparation and management of the council’s procurement plan;
5.
Proper coordination of tender and procurement committee meetings;
6.
Management of the disposal of unserviceable, obsolete and/or other
stores;
7.
Initiating policy on supplies; reviewing, updating, interpretation
and implementing existing supplies regulations, procedures, and systems in line
with government policy;
8.
Ensuring the implementation of supplies manual.
9.
Requisitioning for the procurement of finished stores supplies;
10.
Issuing of stores supplies and proper recording thereof;
11.
Making monthly reports on the stores movement; and
12.
Making recommendations for disposal of unserviceable and/or other
stores.
PERSON
SPECIFICATIONS
For appointment to this position, a candidate must:-
1.
Have served for at least two (2) years in procurement
and supplies related field;
2.
Have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:-
Commerce(Procurement/Supplies), Business Management ,Administration/
Studies or relevant social science from a recognized institution;
3.
Have Professional qualifications in Procurement and Supplies or
its equivalent from a recognized institution;
4.
Have high level of integrity and demonstrated professional
competence in public procurement;
5.
Have demonstrated ability to work in a team;
6.
Have excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication
skills;
7.
Have Certificate in computer applications; and
8.
Be fluent in written and spoken Swahili and English.
