Job Profile

The contact centre agent responds to customer needs in a professional, service oriented manner and maintains the highest level of customer satisfaction by seeking first contact resolution.

Main Responsibilities of the Job:

• Provide professional customer service by:
  
• Listening attentively to customers and responding to customer enquiries via email, live chat and phone
  
• Anticipating potential needs or problems of customers
  
• Maintaining a balance between business and customer needs
  
• Following through on commitments
  
• Making recommendations of alternate solutions if customer expectations cannot
  
• be met and following relevant escalation contact protocols
  
• Maintaining confidentiality of information
  
• Achieving first contact resolution (FCR)
  
• Handling complaints or issues satisfactorily
  
• Providing accurate information about products and services
  
• Processing transactions effectively

Educational and/or Other Requirements/Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Degree in Computer Science or IT, minimum requirement, a Diploma in the same.
  
• Two years experience in Application Development.
  
• Advanced proficiency in the core applications, i.e. MS Office Suite, and at least one of the non core applications supported by the ICT Unit.
  

Qualifications:

• Strong skills on Dreamweaver, PHP, MYSQL, JS, HTML, CSS
  
• Should be capable to understand, analyze & modifying existing scripts.
  
• Fast learner, Strong problem solving skills
  
• Substantial Experience in using Dreamweaver a plus
  
• Should have hands on experience for developing Web based applications using php and Dreamweaver.
  
• Should have prior knowledge in templating systems such as Expression Engine, Code Ignitor, Joomla and or Drupal.
  
• Should have prior knowledge in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator and image editing in either PhotoShop or GIMP.
  
• Should have prior knowledge in MySQL database systems.
  
• Knowledge in ASP, ASP.Net and MS SQL is an added advantage.
