Plant Manager

Unga Farm Care (EA) Ltd is one of the leading manufacturing companies of Quality Animal Feeds in the East African region. 

To support its growth, the company is recruiting a Plant Manager to oversee the overall plant operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experienced Required

• Graduate in Sciences or a related field
• Professional qualification in milling, is an added advantage
• Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in Production Management and Plant Operations with at least five (5) years at a senior management level

Key Result Areas

• Coordinating production of quality products in line with agreed production plans and costs
• Ensuring proper maintenance of Plant and Machinery.
• Ensuring optimum stock holding of all materials and spares consistent with requirements
• Ensuring that Safety, Health and Environment regulations and rules are adhered to
• Overseeing k performance of staff including their deployment, learning and development and welfare in line with company policy.
• Ensuring PaTaMu designated initiatives are implemented leading to continual productivity
