Bamburi Cement - Mombasa plant is to recruit a
Mechanical Planner
Reporting to the Methods Engineer, the role will apply mechanical skills to develop accurate job plans and provide maintenance solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Plan and co-ordinate all plant maintenance shutdowns as well as daily maintenances works for the plant.
- Prepare detailed scopes and bill quantities for maintenance and contractual works.
- Validate and prioritize maintenance work requests to ensure continued plant operations
- Ensure availability of job plans within specified sections.
Suitable candidates will have:
- Higher Diploma in – Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering
- 2 years experience in planning/scheduling of repair and maintenance of heavy industrial / petro-chemical / chemical plants
- Microsoft office proficiency and Auto Cad
- An ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
- Good supervisory skills
- Project Management is an added advantage
- Ability to deliver on targets with minimum supervision
